UNCANNILY REALISTIC

Noel Cruz grew up in the Philippines. When he was just 12-years-old he noticed the Miss Universe Pageant was playing in his neighbor’s house. He had never seen anything quite like the display of painted faces and gowns that was parading on the television set in front of him. That pageant inspired him to start drawing portraits.

IT BEGAN WITH A COLLECTION

After moving the the US with his wife and child, he started a doll collection. He was searching online for a particular doll when he stumbled across hand-painted dolls. He decided to test his artistic creativity and make his own dolls. He is now considered one the world’s best painted doll artists. What sets Noel apart from other artists is how incredibly realistic his dolls look. He truly captures the essence and uniqueness of the celebrity he is painting. Sometimes he uses mass manufactured doll replicas of celebrities and improves them. Other times he uses generic dolls to remaster. Noel’s dolls range anywhere from $1,000-$4000.
